Holabird AdvocateProviding all the news we see fit to print since 2002!Wednesday, April 12, 2006 VOL. V Issue 4H Publisher is Mad-About Helen Hunt Holabird Advocate Publisher, Jerry Hinkle has just discovered "Mad About You". Nick At Nite has started running "Mad Marathons" in 4 hour blocks of time, which Jerry has been recording on the DVR. Jerry has had a thing about Helen Hunt since before he saw her on an obscure TV program known as "The Fitzpatricks". He even enjoyed her performance as the title character in " Quarterback Princess". He also stated that she deserved an Oscar for "Twister". Jerry likes what he's seen so far, and will have more details about this as soon as he's watched at least 4 episodes of the show. Early Mai Fest for Agnes Hahn It appears that Agnes Hahn will be going home with Phyllis and Larry Ehlers, spending a week there, and then spending another week with Ken and Joan Hansen before Mai Fest next month. This means that Jerry Hinkle will have to figure out another way up there. With $2.67/gallon gasoline, it may be more feasible to stay home. Harold Hinkle sure doesn't want to waste that much money on gas. Mary Hinkle has to host May Fellowship Days which is about the same time. It looks like Jerry may have to stay home as well. Hyde School District School Board Results Clint Buchholz 231 Kristin Rittel 214 Mike Solberg (I) 213 Kevin Baloun (I) 194 Jerrod Gutzmer 123 John Mewes 45 All of us here at the Holabird Advocate are speculating that there may be a recount. Other than that, these results are official as reported by our good friends over at the Dakota Radio Group.
