CLYDE "SCOTT" GREGG DROPS DEAD AT HOME
After having coffee yesterday afternoon Holabird resident Clyde Gregg, known as Scott to all of his friends, had decided to take a nap in his bedroom but didn't make it to bed. Mr. Gregg had spent most of the day taking his wife, Marilou, to Aberdeen for radiation treatments. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time and will be published in The Holabird Advocate at the earliest possible time.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN
by Hiram Gonagan
Harold and Mary Hinkle are in "The Land Down Under" at long last. They have a computer they can access from their host family's home and will report to The Holabird Advocate when find the time.Their host family welcomed them by taking them to a neighbor's birthday party.Along the way they saw the sights in Brisbane. They ate the traditional Brittish fish and chips at Sutton Beach in Moreton Bay. Friday night saw them at an art show.
The flight was good and on time except for a 2 hour delay in Denver, CO. Conecting flights were made with no problem. Weather is beautiful in Brisbane. It was compared to Miami in winter. Reports may be hampered by the 15 hour time difference between Holabird and Brisbane but you'll read it here first.
