I Issue 6H DARREL HINKLE HAS LUNCH WITH TOM DASCHLE Darrel Hinkle was one of the select few who were chosen to have lunch with Senator Tom Daschle at the Outpost in Highmore. The purpose of this lunch was to talk about the drought.The KSFY Dakota First News crew came to cover the event.We may see Darrel on TV.The event was coordinated by Mary Jo Nemec of Holabird.Neither she nor her husband, Nicholas, were present at the event.It has long been a policy of the Senator's to visit all of the counties in South Dakota at least once a year. "OPERATION : GO POSTAL" HITS A SNAG It has come to our attention that the postal rates are to go up to 37 cents effective June 30th.We at The Holabird Advocate hope that you the reader don't let that stop you from sending those cards and letters in to E.E. Hinkle.Since launching "Operation:Go Postal" he has recieved no letters, but he has recieved a bill or two in the mail.Next Wednesday there will be a progress report made. Let's hope there is progress to report.
