I Issue 6A THE HOLABIRD ADVOCATE BEGINS SIXTH MONTH It was on New Years Day when Jerry Hinkle,our courageous,dynamic Publisher put out the first edition of The Holabird Advocate.Since that great day we have answered the question that is on nobody's mind "What's happenning in Holabird?".The reason nobody asks that question is because everyone knows the answer already.The answer of course is "Not much".Still all of us at The Holabird Advocate thank you,the reader for reading this,the fruit of our humble efforts.We hope that you come away from your reading experience thinking of Holabird as your hometown.A lot of people,believe it or not, enjoy the editorial portion of the newspaper.It is wonderful to know that the sagacious opinions of our Publisher are so well recieved.Let's keep it going for as long as possible. ON THE ROAD AGAIN Harold and Mary Hinkle went to Farm Island in Pierre to take advantage of the hospitality of Roger and Linda Wurts,freinds of theirs for years.They were unable to use there own RV because of radiator problems,but were glad to have a chance to test the Wurts's camper against the elements.It has been up in the 90s for the last 3 days.We all hope that at least Roger and Linda's air conditioner works.They may have need of it. NICOLE GRAFFING TO WED Nicole Graffing of Fridley, MN and Nathan Walter of Aberdeen announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Graffing is the daughter of Diane Graffing of Holabird and the late Wally Graffing formerly of Holabird. She is a Graduate of Northern State University and is currently employed with Medtronic. Walter works for the USPS in Aberdeen. An August 30 wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen.
