I Issue 2G AASBYS HAVE VALENTINE BIRTH Mike and Carla Aasby welcomed another girl into the family on St. Valentines Day.The baby,Who's name has not been released yet, joins 3 older sisters Casey, Josie, and Riley.She tipped the scales at 7 lbs.15 oz.More details when they become available. THE "ODD COUPLE" SAGA CONTINUES Darrel and Harold Hinkle went to Pierre to look at a possible cow purchase,while Mary went to Highmore for the June Harter funeral.That Left Jerry to make dinner for E.E. Hinkle by default.Murhphy's Law was in full effect there.Anything that Jerry could mess up,he did.He served hamburgers prepared on a George Foreman grill.This made both the bottom and the top black.Old E.E. thought that Jerry put the Catsup on the burgers before he fried them.Jerry then served him the wrong boiled egg.There was an egg that was already peeled and in a plastic bag behind the bowl of boiled eggs of which Jerry took one out.OH ! the Shouting that old boy did to see that ! But the worst faux pas that Jerry commited was to serve him breakfast prunes.No harm was done,as E.E. didn't eat them.Obviously the only reason he lived this long is that he never had to eat Jerry's cooking before. AGNES HAHN HOMEWARD BOUND It was quite a struggle,but Agnes Hahn finally got a set of teeth that suited her.She has done her share of traveling too.from Iowa to Minnesota,back to Iowa and finally on her way back home.a lot of people wondered where she was,but not one single reader (nor may we add any of the married one's) of The Holabird Advocate had to wonder about that.They're a well informed group as most things go . YOU READ IT HERE FIRST by Jerry Hinkle, Special to The Holabird Advocate The Mainstream media reported last night that Miss Cleo has been charged with fraud.On Wednesday of this week The FTC cited a so-called "laundry list of unfair and deceptive practices"against Miss Cleo,who's real name is Youree Dell Harris.The state of Florida has also filed its own suit allaging that she is-get this-bogus.She and her minions have been ordered to stop using deceptive advertising and they are attempting to freeze the assets of Miss Cleo and certain associates.This would in effect shut her down.I, your courageous dymamic publisher have blocked a total of 15 seperate e-mail addresses from which her organization sent me what i believe to be and what could be reffered to as spam because I never asked for her business in the first place.People who have placed themselves on her "do not call" list recieved as many as 10 calls a day.a recorded message beckens them to "call me now" because she "had a dream about them".An attorney for Miss Cleo claims that only "a handful of complaints have been recieved compared with millions of satisfied customers". The psychic service charges $4.99/minute for it's"free tarot reading" and the average call is charged $60.This includes time on hold.Howard Beales of the FTC told the Associated Press"It's a mystery to us why Miss Cleo and her employers haven't seen this coming."
