Holabird AdvocateProviding all the news we see fit to print since 2002!Tuesday, May 28, 2013 Burger King Employee Stalls ThievesAs two hamburlgars stormed the Burger King restaurant in Stockton brandishing guns and demanding cash, an employee snuck out a back door, according to KOVR-TV in Sacramento.The employee found the thieves' idling getaway vehicle in the parking lot, hopped in and drove off, stashing the car around the block."I haven't heard of any employee actually leaving a business, getting inside the suspect vehicle and trying to hide it," Stockton officer Joe Silva told reporters.When the thieves realized their car had been taken, then took off on foot and hid in a nearby field.Police soon found the two suspects, Gabriel Gonzalez and Jeremy Lovitt, and arrested them. Harold and Mary Hinkle went to Grandma Dressen's funeral last Saturday in Kimbal. They slipped over to Mitchell to look see their son, Jerry Hinkle, who had just got off from his first shift at Pizza Hut when they hit town. Jerry did such a good job that he was given a bacon cheeseburger crazy cheesy pizza, and even though Harold and Mary ate at the funeral, each of them took a slice. Then the 3 of them looked through the garden center for a while, Harold and Mary took separate shopping carts around, filling them with whatever struck their fancy. after getting it all paid for, They and Jerry separated, as he was getting tired and needed a nap before his second shift at the Hut. Harold and Mary went to Cabela's and then headed for home, stopping at Fort Thompson to see about getting a free prime rib dinner.
