It has been reported by the Holabird Advocate Circulation Department, that on Wednesday, April 24, our little Newsblog had 36 visitors, which is a post relaunch record! all of us here at the Holabird Advocate, while thrilled about the new record, have no idea why it happened. Sadly, it hasn't even approached the thirties since a week ago tomorrow. Just a hiccup. Oh well!

     All of us here at the Holabird Advocate never know what to expect from the outside weather. Winter was a little longer than usual, and there are reports that we may not have seen the last of the snow. Over the weekend we saw the Mercury rise to 86 degrees both Saturday and Sunday. It has cooled off somewhat, so maybe spring has arrived.

     Friday night is the opening of the ACT production of "Once Upon a Mattress" at the Pepsi Cola Theatre. While I will miss opening night because of previous obligations, I do have a ticket for the May 5 matinee performance at 2 pm. I hope that all who can will pack the show. As a member of the ACT, I feel it's my duty to give the show a little plug here. I'll also buy a large popcorn and soda to everyone who tells me they read it here on the Front Page of the Holabird Advocate. Can't wait to see the show, but I kinda have to!
