According to Facebook research, people are talking about the Holabird Advocate Facebook page. A total of 5 people to be exact, the highest since it's inception at the relaunch of our Newsblog. None of us here at the Holabird Advocate have any idea what they are saying, maybe we don't wanna know! Chances are they are talking about how much time our Publisher has not showed up for work in more than a week!Also according to FB the page is reaching 88 people! If that people start reading what we put on the Newsblog, we may have to be a little more careful of our online content!

All of us here at the Holabird Advocate were just a tad shocked to hear that President Obama is returning 5% of his salary to the US Treasury. It seems even the Prez knows that he's not worth all the money we are paying him. Of course if we paid our government officails what they are worth, it still wouldn't erase the budget shortfall!

     There has been considerable media buzz about Drafting both Brenden Johnson and Stephanie Herseth Sandlin to run as Democrats for the Senate seat vacated by Brenden's father, the undefeated Tim Johnson. Both candidates (if you could call them that) are seemingly thus far, at least publicly, demurring any run for the Senate. Perhaps the Pollmaster General can show us who should be running, and who should keep their day job!
