In the last couple of days, we've noticed that a good portion of our Internet traffic has come from Poland. Of all the Newsblogs in all the world, we have to wonder what we have that has brought ours to the attention of any of the Polish people. Obviously they have very good taste! 

     All of us here at the Holabird Advocate are delighted to see the support that has rallied around the Forest Theatre. So far The Scoopy Doos Ice Cream shop, and a place called Taco Jerry's (nice name!), and even the local Pizza Hut has helped raise money to reopen the theatre, which is hopefully going to happen sometime this spring.

In an age where corporate multiplexes seem to have a choke-hold on the movie going experience, it's refreshing to see an independent small movie house spring up. If possible, our publisher intends to see this for himself this summer. Hopefully he can find some place in Forest City that has wireless Internet to set up a nice little temporary home office.
