Holabird AdvocateProviding all the news we see fit to print since 2002!Tuesday, August 07, 2012 Rep. Kristi Noem hosted a roundtable discussion at the MTI campus this afternoon. even though it wasn't open to the public, I was invited to sit in and listen to questions after the discussion took place. On my Facebook page, I asked for questions and Brenda Pope of Corvallis, Oregon asked how many jobs wind power would bring in and if they were permanent jobs or just temporary. I'll have the answer for that question tomorrow!
I was also invited to take a tour of the Wind Energy program's facility at MTI. As someone who doesn't work in that field, I must say I was very impressed by what I saw. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the good folks at MTI for their hospitality and Rep. Noem for hosting a most enlightening afternoon event. As time permits, I hope to study some more on this and get back into blogging more actively, but don't wait for that to happen!
