Janklow, just a few hours after being convicted of manslaughter, wreckless driving, speeding and failure to stop, has announced that he will resign his seat in the House effective January 20, 2004. This means that 90 days from that date, there will be a special election to decide who will fill out Janklow's term. Janklow's conviction was reported in the audblog experiment that The Holabird Advocate conducted earlier this evening. All of us at the Holabird Advocate hope that all of you Readers become listeners to that experiment, and let us know what you think of it.
