VOL. I Issue 9G
AUDITORIUM OPENNED TO PUBLIC
After two long months of work officials from the city of Highmore opened the Hyde County Memorial Auditorium for use by the public. The first function was a home volleyball match this evening. It will be the first home match in Highmore this season.
BURNING BAN LIFTED
The ban for Open Burning in Hyde County has been temporarily lifted. County Residents must still notify the Highmore Fire Department or the Hyde County Sheriff's Department before they start a controlled burn.
REACTION MIXED TO SEPT 11 COVERAGE
According to poll data, the Holabird Advocate's Sept 11 coverage didn't move a lot of people. Of those that answered the poll 60% had no opinion while the categories "too much" and "just right" recieved 20% each. We will now go back to our regular poll of this month and send the other poll to the archives.
