I Issue 9C SUMMERTIME IS NOT OVER YET TEMP COULD REACH 100 TODAY Nature has provided the Holabird area with a reminder that Summer does not end on Labor Day. All this week in the area the mercury has risen from 85-96 in the past few days. it could be 100 degrees today, tomorrow, and Sunday. Schools throughout the state have dismissed students early. Hyde School District policy is to close at 2pm if the temp is 95. So far, they haven't missed a day. ROSHAU AND SINGLETON ENGAGED Brandi Lee Roshau and Sean Asher Singleton annouce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Parents of the couple are Davis and Susan Rohau of Holabird and Russell and Jane Singleton of Tampa Bay, Florida. The Bride to be is employed at Bankwest in Pierre and the Groom elect is owner of Singleton Construction. The couple is planning a September 21, 2002 wedding in Harrold, South Dakota, where they will be making their home with their son, Gerami David HINKLES GET HUNGRY Whoever said Never go to the grocery store when your hungry " knew what they were taling about. Mary Hinkle went to Highmore, along with husband Harold and father in law E.E. primarily to buy food. They also had dinner at the Hyde County Senior Center to catch up with all of their freinds. E.E. bought 3 Freshetta Pizzas and a couple of lbs of bananas. Mary bought so much that Vlceks packed it all in boxes. On the way home they picked up Shelby and Justin Hinkle and brought them along.
